Make an Appointment -

Use the location dropdown to specify where the appointment will take place. Selecting a different location will reload the appointment dates and times that are available to be booked.
Make an appointment in 3 steps. Step 1: Select a staff member. Step 2: Select an available date. Step 3: Select an available timeslot.

Book an Appointment

  • Browse the appointments below by clicking on the appointment headings to view consultants, their availability, and their areas of specialty or experience with research data programs. When you are ready to book an appointment, select the date, time, and click "continue". Complete the appointment form and click "Confirm Appointment".
  • Appointments are available for booking 2 weeks in advance: consultants will only appear if they have availability in the next 2 weeks.
  • Please take note of what type of appointment you have selected (online, in-person, written e-feedback).
  • Correspondence regarding your appointment will be sent to the email associated with your UBC CWL credentials (i.e., Zoom link or room number).

Writing Consultants offer support for writing journal articles, grant proposals, theses, dissertations, conference presentations, coursework, and more. Research Data Consultants offer support for cleaning, organizing, and analyzing research data.

English Language Development Consultants offer support for practicing academic and conversational English skills. In the first meeting, the consultant will help you set goals for your English language development and build a plan for future meetings.

When you reserve an online appointment or workshop, a Zoom link will be sent to your email associated with your CWL credentials. Please click the Zoom link at the scheduled appointment or workshop time.
