UBC Library and Fudan University embarked on an exciting cultural and knowledge partnership in 2019 to share Eastern and Western conservation techniques through an exchange program. In October 2023, the inaugural conservator from Fudan University began a 100-day stay at UBC. During the event, you will hear directly from those involved with the conservation exchange activities throughout the visit as well as the goals and opportunities of the international collaboration.

• Anne Lama is Conservator for UBC Library
• Yan Li is Librarian and Rare Books Conservator at Fudan University in Shanghai, China
• Hannah McKendry is Conservation Technician for UBC Library
• Fiona Li is Development Officer for UBC Library and will be translating for the event
