We Can [edit]: How to Become a Wikipedia Editor
This workshop will acquaint new editors with the overall scope of Wikipedia, its policies and practices. We'll explore the most useful features and resources, as well as do exercises to give you a taste of actual editing. In this workshop you will:
- Learn how to create a Wikipedia account
- Develop a sandbox space and use the Wikipedia editor
- Learn how to add infoboxes, categories, and images
This workshop is in support of those intersted in the UBC Art + Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon and the #HonouringIndigenousWriters Wikipedia Edit-a-thon.
