Knowledge Synthesis Workshop Series: Part 1 Getting Started and Structured Searching

This workshop will help set you up for success when embarking on a systematic review or other knowledge synthesis project.

Topics to be covered in this session include:

  • Understanding the review process 

  • Defining your question

  • Resources for developing a protocol 

  • Identifying and analyzing seed papers 

  • Creating a rigorous and reproducible search strategy

We encourage you to join this workshop using a laptop or computer, rather than a mobile device as there will be opportunities to practice advanced strategies to search databases. There will be time to ask questions throughout the workshop. Please bring any questions you have!
