Manuscript Consultation Office Hour with UBC Library Writer-in-Residence Tsering Yangzom Lama
Are you a writer seeking feedback on your work or advice on navigating the literary world? Join acclaimed author and Writer-in-Residence Tsering Yangzom Lama for one-on-one consultation office hours. Tsering is the author of We Measure the Earth With Our Bodies, a critically acclaimed novel that explores themes of displacement, memory, and the Tibetan diaspora. She has been featured in The New York Times and longlisted for the Giller Prize.
During these office hours, Tsering will offer personalized feedback on your writing, whether you're working on fiction, memoir, or personal essays. She will also guide manuscript development, publishing strategies, and creative practice. Please complete this registration to reserve a consultation slot with our Tsering. Consultations are 30-minute discussions of a fiction or creative nonfiction draft, during which you will receive feedback, advice, and encouragement in your writing process. Please submit drafts that are no longer than 15 pages double-spaced.
