Introduction to "R" for statistical analysis

Do you want to learn about R but don't know where to start? This workshop is for you! R is a popular free software program used for quantitative analysis in both the humanities and sciences. Many state-of-the-art models and various graphs are available in R. This introductory level R workshop discusses the R & R studio environment, basic data preparation and management, descriptive statistics, and common statistical analysis (T-test, ANOVA, correlation, regression). This workshop is designed for beginners who have no or little experience in R and with opportunities for hands-on experience with sample data. Join us for this workshop and start your data analysis with R!

Please bring your own laptop to this workshop. You will need to install the latest versions of R and RStudio on your laptop before the workshop. You can Install R and R Studio from here.

If you do not have your own laptop, please contact us at research.commons@ubc.ca to check on the availability of our loaner laptops.
