Building a project website with Jekyll and Github Pages
This workshop will walk you through the steps to create and publish a static website using Jekyll and GitHub Pages. We’ll explore the default Jekyll installation setup, configure a simple site, and add content to your site’s pages. We’ll discuss best practices for organizing and naming your content, as well as workflows for continual editing and keeping your site up-to-date. Finally, we’ll introduce Jekyll themes for you to customize the look and feel of your site, and custom domains to brand your project’s web address.
