OER Fund Proposal Online Consultation Sessions

Beginning in September, CTLT and Faculty support units will be hosting a series of virtual online drop-in sessions to help applicants in the development of their Open Educational Resources (OER) Fund project proposals. Applicants can register to ‘drop in’ to any of these virtual sessions to discuss their project ideas and receive feedback and advice on topics such as OER evaluation, open resource design and development, open licensure (Creative Commons), project scope and workflows, and budget development. CTLT staff with a background in educational development as well as instructional, OER, and media design will be available. The sessions also provide an opportunity to connect with Faculty-based units, Library, and UBC IT staff, ensuring that applicants can access support to develop effective and detailed OER Fund proposals, with accurate project scope, budget information, and evaluation strategies.
