Knowledge Exchange and Scholarly Communication – Considerations for Your Practice
More than ever, researchers engage in the public space, inform decision-making and collaborate with various stakeholders to create impactful knowledge on societal challenges. Yet, the need to better understand what the black box of knowledge exchange contains and how to practice open and engaged scholarship effectively remains. This session will bring together the expertise of the UBC Library and the UBC Knowledge Exchange Unit to draw an overview of the principles of knowledge exchange and scholarly communication, and identify practical considerations for researchers.
