This is an introductory workshop focusing on the fundamental concepts and skills needed to begin using ArcGIS Pro for exploring and analyzing spatial data. Participants will learn how to navigate the interface, how to join two datasets together, how to use appropriate symbology to explore a dataset, and how to create and export a PDF map.

To do before the workshop:

Students can either use their own installation of ArcGIS Pro (uses a Windows operating system), or log into a virtual machine in the Digital Scholarship lab with remotelabs.ubc.ca (requires a UBC CWL for log in).
