Doctoral Tri-Council Workshop: Writing the Research Proposal
This workshop is for graduate students applying for Doctoral Tri-Council funding: CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC. Drawing on evidence-based research about what style features successful grant proposals draw on, facilitators discuss particular elements of this high-stakes written academic genre: audience, purpose, knowledge gap/problem, methodology, organizational structure, and more. The workshop includes examples of successful UBC Tri-Council research proposals.
