Basics of Data Visualization

This workshop provides an overview of the principles and practices of data visualization. You will learn about various graph types, visualization approaches and instruments, and basic design techniques (choosing colors, scales, and legends). This workshop is not bound to specific software and does not require any programming knowledge, it is a general guide on how to communicate ideas through plots in a clear and effective way. The topics covered and ways of thinking about data visualization that we introduce in this workshop apply to many fields of study and purposes: academic, business, and personal
