Visualizing Data in ArcGIS Online

This is an introductory workshop to ArcGIS Online and is intended for those unfamiliar with GIS desktop software who want to be able to create a map, add and configure data, and create a Story Map.

To do before the workshop:

If you don’t already have an Esri account, sign up for a free ArcGIS public account ahead of time.

If you already have an account with Esri, you can choose to use your regular sign in or create a separate free account.

  1. Click Create an account.
  2. Under Create a free public account, click Create an ArcGIS Public Account and follow the instructions.
