Discoverability and Sharing Open Educational Resource

Unlike traditional publishing models, where marketing and promotion are completed for authors, engaging in open education activities requires some effort from practitioners in getting the word out there about their resources. This session will introduce you to workflows for making your resource discoverable, streaming impact data collection, and marketing and promotion processes to showcase the reach of your resources.

This session will cover:

  • Identifying how resource formats and accessibility impact openness
  • Developing a plan for sharing open educational resources
  • Developing a plan for gathering data to show impact of your open educational resource
  • Identify marketing and promotion processes for releasing your open educational resource
