Literature Reviews: Searching and Keeping Track

New to literature reviews? Looking to brush up your skills? This is the workshop for you!

We will cover the purposes of literature reviews; the different types of reviews; finding the right databases; developing effective search strategies; locating scholarly articles, theses / dissertations, books, and more; and resources to help you keep track of your research. There will be plenty of time to engage with the presenters, so bring your questions.

Although this session is appropriate for students in any discipline, the focus and examples will be drawn from the humanities and social sciences.

If you need help with systematic or scoping reviews, our Knowledge Synthesis: Systematic, Scoping & Other Reviews guide is the best place to start.
