Creating Accessible Open Educational Resources (OER): OER Tools and Platforms

Description

Are you working on an OER Fund project or developing and incorporating open educational resources (OER) into your teaching and learning? Join us for a discussion about how to design or adapt OER so they are more accessible for all learners.

In this hands-on studio session, we’ll focus on the specific tools and platforms being used for our OER projects such as H5P, PressBooks, and Jupyter Notebooks. Bring your questions, quandaries, and discoveries!

Facilitators

  • AC Deger, OER Support Pilot Strategist, UBC Centre for Accessibility

  • Will Engle, Strategist, Open Education Initiatives, CTLT
