Library Graduate Student Orientation
Description: Are you a graduate student and new to UBC? This orientation will provide an overview of the people, services, spaces and collections available to you through UBC Library. Learn about tools to support your research, discover resources specific to your discipline, and explore how to effectively use UBC library for graduate level research.
In advance: Bring a computing device to this event to ensure you can fully participate. Laptops are available to borrow from the Library Service Desk.
Getting here: This event will be held in LIB 111. Enter the main entrance of the Library building on the Okanagan Campus. Turn right, go past the stairs and the elevator, and enter the door to your right.
Location details: There are gender-neutral, accessible washrooms on the main floor of the library, and gendered washrooms in the library lobby. The library front doors are automatic and accessible.
