Stanley Park Manor: Book Launch Celebration with Kevin Spenst

Join us for the launch of Stanley Park Manor, the new book by UBC Library Writer-in-Residence Kevin Spenst.
Blending memoir, literary reflection, and Vancouver history, Stanley Park Manor explores the people, memories, and changing landscapes connected to the West End apartment building. With a poet’s attention to everyday detail, the book reflects on family, community, and the ways a neighbourhood can shape a life.
The evening will feature a reading by Kevin Spenst, a conversation about the book's making, and an audience Q&A. Guests are invited to celebrate the publication, meet the author, and share in a thoughtful exploration of memory and Vancouver’s evolving urban landscape.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
