DESCRIPTION:This workshop will first give an introduction to web maps\, 
 including the differences between digital maps and web maps\, their 
 structure\, and how they work. The second part of the workshop will be a 
 short hands-on session where we will create our own web map using 
 Leaflet.js.\n \nIntro to Web Maps\n\n\n	Why web maps?\n	Web map vs digital 
 map\n	Map tiles\n	GeoJSON\n	Structure of a web map\n\n\nHands on with 
 Leaflet.js\n\n\n	Intro to using your source code editor\n	Examine the map 
 “boilerplate”\n	Configure the load location and zoom level\n	Change 
 base layer\n	Add building data\n	Examine building data 
 attributes\n	Configure a popup\n\n\nThis workshop is taught by a graduate 
 student in Geography with expertise in GIS and cartographic
